Dr Ali Amrollahi is a Senior Lecturer in Business Information Systems at Macquarie Business School, where he leads the Cybersecurity Governance major. An award-winning educator and researcher, Ali integrates his expertise in digital leadership, emerging technologies, and strategy to shape innovative curricula and pedagogical approaches that connect theory with practice. His research on digital strategising and configurational methodologies has been published in leading A* and A-ranked journals, earning multiple national and international awards. Ali is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and the recipient of the 2025 Macquarie Business School Award for Education Excellence. He holds a PhD in Information Systems, a Master of IT Management, and a Graduate Certificate in Higher Education.
